The United States warned its nationals against travel to parts of Bicol and Eastern Visayas due to harsh weather conditions from Typhoon Nina (Nock-Ten).

The local governments of Catanduanes, Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte in Bicol are bracing for a big one.

Some parts of Bicol are at "very high risk" and high risk" from the heavy rain expected from the La Nina weather phenomenon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
