The Firmalo Boulevard baywalk in Odiongan is the perfect place to hangout and watch the sunset.
And Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic hopes to keep it that way by urging residents to take care of the place and not leave their trash lying around.
In a Facebook post, she called on people who will visit the area not to litter and to make sure to throw their used drink and food containers in the proper place.
There are trash bins around the area, she pointed out. If these are full, then people should bring home their trash and throw it in the garbage bin, she said.
By October, she would deputize citizens to issue citation tickets to those caught littering.
She hopes people will practice self-discipline.
Don’t ruin the vibe with your trash!
“Hi guys.. ganda ng Firmalo Boulevard baywalk noh?
Lahat tayo may responsibilidad.
