Former VP Leni Robredo shares vid of her shorter hike in Bhutan

Before she hiked to the famed Tiger’s Nest site in Bhutan, former Vice President Leni Robredo enjoyed what she considered a practice hike.
It was a three-hour hike to and from the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Stupa in Punakha.
Robredo shared a video of the trek on Facebook.
She said she and her friend enjoyed it a lot because they went through villages and farms.
They also got to learn a lot about Bhutanese culture, thanks to their tour guide.
It prepared them well for a longer hike!
“Another day in Bhutan. Another hike. This happened the day before our hike to Tiger’s Nest. It was shorter – all of three hours round trip. Practice kumbaga.
The trek was to the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Stupa in Punakha. We enjoyed it very much because we went through villages and farms. It was also a study of the Bhutanese culture, as narrated by our tour guide,” Robredo posted.
