Tarriela attends Comelec hearing for KNP’s accreditation

Occidental Mindoro Rep. Odie Tarriela attended the hearing for the accreditation of his new party Kilusan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (KNP) at the Commission on Elections.

Tarriela is the Deputy Secretary General of the KNP, which is seeking to be accredited as a national party.

“KNP Deputy Secretary General Cong. Odie F. Tarriela, together with other officers and members of the Kilusan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (KNP) attended the hearing of the Comelec En Banc on the petition of KNP to be accredited as a National Party,” the lawmaker’s office said.

In attendance are KNP President Mayor Albee Benitez of Bacolod, KNP Secretary General Cong. Rufus Rodriguez, Cong. Rida Robes of Bulacan and husband Mayor Arthur Robes.

Cong. Divina Grace Yu and husband Governor Victor Yu of Zamboanga del Sur, Cong. Richard Gomez of Leyte, Cong. Marlyn Primicias-Agabas of Pangasinan, and Cong. Linabelle Villarica of Bulacan with husband Mayor Henry Villarica also attended the hearing.

Rodriguez, the Secretary General of KNP led the presentation before the Commission of the vision, programs and aspirations of the KNP for the country and the Filipino people.

“It is expected that the Comelec, upon submission of other required documents, is expected to release its decision soon,” said Tarriela’s office.
