The Odiongan local government has taken action and ordered the temporary closure of an establishment where a worm was found in its food.

In a Facebook post, Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic said the establishment had violated the Sanitary Code.

Stall owners also met with the Municipal Economic Enterpises Development Office and Rural Health Unit to discuss this incident.

Fabic advised residents who would encounter similar incidents of possible Sanitary Code violations to take a photo of the food and return the item to the stall.

They could also bring their complaints to the Sanitary Inspector’s Office at the Rural Health Unit/Health Center.

Fabic posted.
