Calapan Vice Mayor Bim Ignacio is happy for his constituents who stand to benefit from the city’s new solar-powered irrigation system.

Ignacio joined the blessing of the new facility in Sitio Bagong Silang, Barangay Baruyan.

He said this would be a big help for rice farmers and would also help conserve energy.

Through this irrigation system, the food supply in the barangay and nearby areas could also be assured, he said.

It’s a wonderful new addition to Calapan!

Naging bahagi po tayo ng matagumpay na pagbubukas ng SPIS. Malaking tipid at tulong po ito sa tuloy-tuloy na pagpapatubig sa ating mga gulayan at taniman ng palay na magtitiyak ng maraming suplay ng pagkain sa Barangay Baruyan at mga kalapit pang lugar.
