Escudero forms sports program for the youth

Sorsogon Rep. Dette Escudero has established a sports program for the youth in order to improve their skills and talents.
“Aking binuo ang DEEDS o Dette Escudero Educational and Developmental Sports upang maghasa at sumuporta sa mga atletang Sorsoganon sa kanilang pangarap na ipursige ang kani-kanilang sports,” said the lawmaker.
Escudero explained that the DEEDS aims to help student athletes develop their skills and aid them in looking for college scholarships.
“Layon din ng DEEDS na pumili at maghanap ng mga kabataang may potensyal sa sports at hubugin sila upang matulungan silang maging university o athlete scholars at kung papalarin ay i-represent ang Sorsogon di lamang sa Palarong Pambansa, pero pati na rin sa mga palarong pandaigdigan,” said Escudero.
On April 1 and 2, Escudero’s DEEDS will launch a table tennis competition.
