Oriental Mindoro Gov. Bonz Dolor visits suspected site of sunken tanker

Oriental Mindoro Gov. Bonz Dolor is hoping for a swift resolution to the oil spill that has hit his province, now that the possible location of the sunken tanker may have been detected.
Dolor joined the team that of the Japanese Dynamic Positioning Vessel SHIN NICHI MARU that was brought to the country to look for the tanker.
The vessel has a remotely operated vehicle that could check for the tanker’s presence underwater.
Dollor personally saw the area that was also the tanker’s last known position, which gave him hope.
He is hoping for a positive result!
“Personal kong nakita ang lugar kung saan huling napag-alamam ang lokasyon ng MT Princess Empress. Dahil dito ay mas lumalim ang mithiin kong maresolbahan ito sa lalong madaling panahon.
Kasalukuyang ibinaba na ang Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) ng Japanese Dynamic Positioning Vessel (DPV) SHIN NICHI MARU upang i-assess ang sitwasyon sa ilalim ng dagat. Hiling nating ang isang positibong resulta,” Dolor posted.
