Juban Councilor Gershon Carino shares photos from the council’s Senate visit

When Juban Councilor Gershon Carino was in Manila recently for the Philippine Councilors’ League National Convention, he took the chance to see up close how the national legislature works.
In a Facebook post, Carino said the Senate visit was not part of the agenda of the convention.
But he and his colleagues still visited the chamber to see how the Senate conducts sessions, adopts resolutions, and deliberates upon bills on the plenary,
He thanked the offices of the Senators who assisted them during their visit.
He had a good time at the Senate!
“Today is another regular session day of our Sangguniang Bayan.
Last week, even if it was not part of the programme of the Philippine Councilors’ League National Convention, we visited the Senate of the Philippines to get a glimpse of how legislative sessions are conducted, resolutions are adopted, and proposed bills are deliberated upon at the Plenary.
