There’s something to be said for choosing the scenic route.

Tinambac Councilor Jonas Soltes and his friends were able to snap a photo of themselves before the Taal Volcano as part of their side trip.

The photo was taken in Laurel, Batangas.

Soltes said they strayed from the highway and took the long and winding route from Manila to Camarines Sur.

But at least they were able to enjoy a lot of good views along the way!

“Sidetrip with old friends. Taal Volcano as viewed from Laurel, Batangas. We strayed from the highway and took the long and winding but scenic road from Manila to Camarines Sur,” Soltes posted.
