Albay Gov. Grex Lagman vows continued support for Albay’s lawyers

POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
Albay Gov. Grex Lagman has long been a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Albay chapter, and he declared his continued support for the group.
In a Facebook post, Lagman said he has always made it a point to join the chapter’s election for its officials, and this year was no exception.
He voted for who he thinks is the best leader.
He also said he remains committed to helping the group to the best of his ability.
There is always honor and excellence in pursuing the common good, he said.
Albay’s lawyers can count on him!
“I have been a member of IBP-Albay since 2012 when I transferred from IBP-QC.
I have always made it a point to perform my civic duty to vote for the best IBP-Albay candidates according to my conscience. Today was no exception. I voted for the best candidates.
As in all democratic elections, our choices may not always reflect the final outcomes. But what is important is that our choices sincerely offered themselves to lead our chapter and, more importantly, that they respect the will of our chapter’s electorate.
Dean Atorni Ian and I remain committed to help to the best of our ability (together with all well-meaning members) our beloved IBP-Albay. There is always honor and excellence in pursuing the common good regardless of where the winds of democratic processes take us.
Congratulations, IBP-Albay PIO Atty. Marylou Duka Castillo and to all the new officers!” Lagman posted.
