What an honor! Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic named one of the Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leaders

Odiongan Mayor Trina Fabic is one of 35 individuals selected to be among the Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leaders from the region.

In a Facebook post, Fabic said she felt honored by this.

As an Asia-Pacific Leader, she would take part in a five-month hybrid program with fellow leaders. It aims to build a strong community of support founded on a shared vision of values-based leadership, she said.

She said the group would meet once or twice a week online to listen to speakers and connect with other fellows.

The final activity would be held in person in June.

Fabic said she looks forward to becoming a better leader and mayor.

“I am honored to announce that I have been selected as 1 of 35 Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific Leaders from 22 countries and territories in the region.

‘The 2023 Leaders Asia-Pacific program is a five-month, hybrid program. The program brings together a small cohort of 35 emerging leaders weekly from across the Asia-Pacific to build a strong community of support founded on a shared vision of values-based leadership.’

Nag me meet kami once or twice a week online para matuto mula sa iba’t ibang speakers at para makipag usap sa kapwa fellows namin na nag she share ng kanilang mga programa at gawain. Usually ay after work hours (5pm onwards) o weekend ito, kaya hindi naman masyadong kumakain ng oras para sa trabaho. Ang final activity ay in-person na pagpupulong sa katapusan ng Hunyo.
