Odiongan Vice Mayor Diven Dimaala lamented that the P355 minimum wage in the province will hardly get people anything because of the high inflation rate in the country.

Inflation is now at 8.7 percent.

In a Facebook post, Dimaala noted that a kilo of onions is now even more expensive than a kilo of meat.

He wondered how the poor will survive. He wants to know if they could still afford to buy essentials like rice, soap, and coffee, and pay for their bills.

What to do now?
