Lagman hosts Governor’s Night for UAP

Albay Governor Edcel “Grex” Lagman said that he’s honored to sponsor the Governor’s Night for the for the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP).

“Honored to offer dinner, music, fun and laughter to these intrepid creatives who seamlessly combine art, science and design,” said Lagman.

Lagman also thanked the UAP Area B Assembly Organizing Committee for the success of assembly.

“Even as I am tasked to wrap up this two-day event, I would like to welcome you still to the Province of Albay,” said the governor.

“I hope you were able to enjoy the adventure and take in the beautiful landscape that our province has to offer. I remain to be its number one fan and ambassador. On behalf of all Albayanos, I thank you for choosing our home as your venue for your national assembly.”

Lagman noted that architects are visionaries, designers, and pioneers.

“While in the government we love ten-year to fifty-year plans, we cannot deny that we are at the mercy of tomorrow. This is why I appreciate what you do at UAP and as architects: you are our visionaries, designers, and pioneers,” he said.

“It is one thing to imagine the future, but another thing to pull it into the present, take it apart, and make it palatable for today,” he added.
