Coron Mayor Marjo Reyes welcomes return of cruise ship

Coron Mayor Marjo Reyes is so happy to see the return of cruises to his town.

Tourism in Coron is set to get a boost after the pandemic with the docking of a ship with thousands of passengers.

In a Facebook post, Reyes welcomed the MS Spirit to his town.

He also thanked those who helped give the ship a warm welcome, complete with dance and cultural performances.

With their enthusiastic show for the tourists, more visitors will surely head to Coron!

Talaga nga naman napaka-ganda ng Bayan ng Coron dahil tayo ay muling binisita ng MS Silver Spirit, taos puso po ang saya ng aking puso sainyong muling pag-balik, ituloy tuloy nating pa-unlarin ang at pag-sigla ng turismo ng ating bayan.

Nag-papasalamat po sa LGU CORON at sa lahat ng tumulong, upang maging masaya, ligtas at matagumpay ang pagsalubong at pagtanggap sa ating mga bisita sa pangunguna ng Municipal Tourism Office, Bb. Kristine Mechelle Ablaña. Salamat rin po sa Saint Augustine Academy performers, sa mga kabataan pati na rin ang kanilang mga magulang na nag-bigay ng napakagandang performance para saating mga turista. Salamat rin po sa Palawan State University – Dance troupe sa pagbigay ng kanilang cultural performance.
