Magayon Festival 2023 to feature inclusive activities

The month-long Magayon Festival 2023 will feature various activities that promote inclusivity as it opens this May 8.

Albay Governor Edcel Grex Lagman, thru the Provincial Tourism, Culture and Arts Office (PTCAO) has finalized the various activities will be enjoyed throughout the month-long celebration of the Magayon Festival 2023 in May.

The Magayon Festival will have sports activities for the LGBTQIA+ Community, Drum and Lyre Competition, Local Government Unit nights, concerts, and Miss Daragang Magayon 2023 as some of the highlight events throughout the celebration.

Vice Governor Glenda Bongao, Provincial Government of Albay (PGA) department heads and the tourism officers of LGUs attended the Execom Committee Meeting to show their support and pledge their participation for one of the grandest festivals in Albay.

Lagman earlier said that the provincial government aims to make this year’s installment “the best ever.”

“Here’s to a meaningful, relevant and BONGACIOUS MAGAYON FESTIVAL 2023,” he continued.
