Gov. Socrates welcomes 12 Palaweño scholars at Capitol

Palawan Governor V. Dennis Socrates has welcomed at the Capitol the 12 Palaweño scholars who are studying in Hainan Normal University.
The scholars personally thanked the governor and the provincial government for supporting their studies.
The scholars who visited were Kristine Chi Ling NG, Carl Louis Dela Cruz, Christian Jay Daco, Corral Em Cruz, Yasser Omar, Mary Krinzy Banadera, Randy Rodriguez Jr., Jenesa Parangue, Aubrey Mae Domingo, Dario Batiancila, Jr., Nicole Cariño and Beatrice Niña Linga.
Vice Governor Leoncio N. Ola, Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Joshua U. Bolusa and Board Member Ryan D. Maminta also welcomed the scholars.
“Samantala, sa darating na ika-16 ng Pebrero taong kasalukuyan ay nakatakda nang tumulak patungong bansang Tsina ang mga naturang Palaweño scholars na personal namang ihahatid ng ilang opisyales ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan,” the Palawan PIO said.
“Matatandaan na ang scholarship program ay resulta ng Agreement on the Establishment of Sisterhood Relationship sa pagitan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Palawan at Hainan Province of the People’s Republic of China na nilagdaan noong 2017,” it added.
