Gov. Socrates joins World Radio Day celebration

Palawan Governor V. Dennis Socrates has joined the celebration of the 4th World Radio day Celebration in the province.
To mark the event, a fellowship dinner was prepared by the Provincial Information Office led by PIO Atty. Christian Jay V. Cojamco.
“Ang selebrasyon ng 4th World Radio Day ay kasalukuyang dinadaluhan ng mga station managers, broadcasters, DJs at ilang broadcast technicians mula sa iba’t ibang himpilan ng radyo sa lungsod at lalawigan,” the Palawan PIO said.
“Personal ding nakiisa sa selebrasyon si Gob. V. Dennis M. Socrates kasama sina Provincial Administrator Atty. Jethro Palayon, Office of the Governor Chief of Staff Ceasar Sammy Magbanua at Provincial PESO OIC Orphy Ordinario,” it added.
The said activity is pursuant to the Provincial Ordinance No. 2202-2019 or “An Act Declaring the 13th Day of February Every Year in Commemoration of the ‘World Radio Day’ as a Permanent Celebration in the Province of Palawan for the Purpose of Recognizing and Promoting Its Advocacy, Establishing a Committee and Providing Funds Thereof”
The said measure was authored by Board Member Ryan D. Maminta and Board Member Modesto V. Rodriguez.
