Camarines Norte Gov. Dong Padilla wants a windmill in his province

Windmills in Camarines Norte? Why not?

Camarines Norte Gov. Dong Padilla has met with the leader of Vena Energy Philippines to discuss the possibility of putting up windmills in the province.

In a Facebook post, Padilla said the meeting had been a productive one. The company saw the potential in putting up the Camarines Norte Wind Power Project, he said.

He said representatives of the company are set to visit the province in the coming months,

He will make sure the province is ready to work with them so that they could begin planning the project.

“Kahapon po, Personal tayong nakipagpulong kay Mr. Samrinder Nehria – head leader ng Vena Energy Philippine upang pag usapan ang posibilidad na magkaroon ng Windmills sa ating lalawigan.

Naging epektibo po ang ating pakikipag- ugnayan dahil sa kanilang nakitang potensyal ng ating probinsiya na maipatayo ang Camarines Norte Wind Power Project.

Nakatakda na po ang kanilang pagpunta sa ating lalawigan sa mga susunod na buwan at sisigoruhin natin na nakahanda ang ating pamahalaan sa pakikipagtulungan upang maumpisahan ang plano sa mga posibleng pagtatayuan ng Windmills Project,” Padilla posted.
