Bicol logs 8 new COVID-19 cases

The Department of Health has reported 8 new COVID-19 cases from January 29 to February 4 in Bicol Region.
Active cases currently stood at 610.
The distribution of the newly reported cases is as follows:
ALBAY: 2 (25%)
1 – Daraga
1 – Tiwi
CAMARINES NORTE: 0 (0%)
CAMARINES SUR: 4 (50%)
1 – Bombon
1 – Canaman
1 – Naga City
1 – Pili
CATANDUANES: 0 (0%)
MASBATE: 0 (0%)
SORSOGON: 2 (25%)
1 – Donsol
1 – Sorsogon City
The department also logged 30 new recoveries during the same period. No fatalities were reported and death toll remains at 2,698.
“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action,” the DOH reminded.
“Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” it added.
