Former VP Leni Robredo mourns death of childhood friend

Former VP Leni Robredo is in mourning because of the passing of her childhood friend Susan.

In a Facebook post, Robredo said she has known Susan since she was five years old.

She, Susan, and friend Sieg were known as the tres marias when they were in kindergarten.

One of the last times she saw Susan was when she was Vice President and Susan came to visit her.

She shared the photo of their meeting on Facebook.

“Lost a childhood friend yesterday

I met Susan when I was 5. We were the original tres marias (Susan, Sieg, and I) in Miss Ebio’s Kindergarten class.

This is Susan with her husband at the OVP a few Christmases ago,” Robredo posted.
