Tallado holds meeting with Camarines Norte State College president

Camarines Norte Rep. Josie Tallado committed to help Camarines Norte State College become a university.
This came after the lawmaker met recently with Dr. Marlo M. Dela Cruz, CNSC President.
“Naniniwala si Dr. Dela Cruz na malaki ang magagawang ambag ni Congw. Tallado sa naunang panukala at gagawin pa nitong pag-endorso sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) upang maging matagumpay ang magandang adhikain ng naturang paaralan,” the lawmaker’s office said.
Tallado serves as the chairperson of the Bicol Recovery and Economic Development committee at the House of Representatives.
“Ayon kay Congw. Tallado, tutulong umano ito sa hangarin at layunin ng CNSC President dahil maraming mga estudyante ang nag-aaral na sa CNSC at pag nangyari pagiging unibersidad nito mas malaki ang magiging epekto sa bawat mag-aaral, mas makikilala umano ang Camarines Norte State College in terms of quality education, ika nga ay mas magkakaroon ng mataas na antas ng edukasyon ito,” said the lawmaker’s office.
The CNSC is currently on the process of becoming a university and may attain such status by 2024.
