Marinduque Governor Presby Velasco has welcomed in the province Department of Information and Communications and Technology Secretary Ivan Uy.

Joining Uy during the visit was Regional Director Cheryl Ortega.

“Maligayang Pagdating sa Lalawigan ng Marinduque, DICT Sec. Ivan John Uy at RD Cheryl Ortega,” said the governor.

“Bukas po ay gaganapin ang Ground Breaking Ceremony ng Tower Build ng DICT at Free Wifi Ceremonial Launching sa Provincial Convention Center. Kasama rin ang Oath Taking ng mga opisyal ng itinatag na ICT Council,” he added.

The program also features assistance booth for those who want to register their SIM Cards.

“Bahagi rin ng programa ang pagkakaroon assistance booth ukol sa SimCard Registration ng Globe at Smart Telecommunications at Step 2 National ID System Registration ng Philippine Statistics Authority – PhilSys,” said Velasco.
