OkSi Rep. Tarriela meets with Padilla, Romualdez

Occidental Mindoro Rep. Odie F. Tarriela held a back-to-back meeting with Senator Robin Padilla and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.

The officials tackled the proposed socioeconomic development programs for country including the Province of Occidental Mindoro.

Tariella laid out the main challenges faced by different sectors in the province, particularly the ongoing power supply shortage, modernization of the agricultural sector, and the much-needed infrastructure development, among others.

According to the solon’s office, Padilla and Romualdez pledged their support to Occidental Mindoro in the coming years to ensure continued economic development.

“After the meeting, he and Senator Padilla proceeded to meet with Cong. Rufus Rodriguez of the Committee on Constitutional Amendments to discuss the proposed amendments to the 1987 Constitutions now pending with the House of Representatives,” Tarriela’s office said.
