El Nido Mayor Edna Gacot Lim warns the public about a scammer pretending to be her 

El Nido Mayor Edna Gacot Lim advised the public to be wary about text messages from people who claim to be her.

In a Facebook post, Lim said the only number she uses is her personal number, which only a limited number of people know, and the work hotline of the mayor’s office.

She shared a screenshot from a message who claimed to be her and denied having had anything to do with it.

She also condemned this action that she said adversely affects the businesses of people in El Nido.
