Palawan SP asks PRC to hold teachers’ oath taking in the province

The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved a resolution asking the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to consider the province as a venue for the face-to-face mass oath taking for the Newly Licensed Professional Teacher.
The measure is entitled “A Resolution earnestly requesting Atty. Charito A. Zamora, Chairperson, Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) to include Palawan as one of the venues to conduct face-to-face mass oathaking ceremony for the Newly Licensed Professional Teachers in the Province of Palawan.”

Board Members Ariston D. Arzaga at Rafael V. Ortega, Jr. authored the said resolution.

Ortega said that if approved, the measure will be of great help to the newly minted teachers in Palawan.

“Together with my colleagues Mr. Chair present in this plenary today, this humble representation appeal before the Hon. Chairman of the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC), once given meritorious consideration, it will greatly help the parents and LET Passers ease their financial expenses most especially in times of COVID-19 pandemic that has significantly affected the family resources or income,” said Ortega.

Meanwhile, BM Arzaga said around 1,000 Palaweños will benefit from the measure.

“Matama po ang akapasa digi kanaten , akakalipay na out of thousands of elementary and secondary level na kumuha ng LET, sobra po y saka ribo ang akapasa digi kanaten sa lalawigan ng Palawan katabid den da siyempre ang Highly Urbanized City of Puerto Princesa.
