Naga Mayor Son Legacion commends Solid Waste Management Office for clean streets after celebrations

Despite the Christmas celebration producing a lot of trash, it wasn’t long before Naga’s streets were already swept clean.

And the city has the Solid Waste Management Office (SWMO) to thank for this.

In a Facebook post, Naga Mayor Nelson Legacion commended the SWMO for its impressive performance.

Legacion said that while many were asleep, the SWMO staff were out on the streets taking part in clean up operations.

Thanks to the SWMO, the people of Naga enjoy trash-free streets!

The just concluded Christmas celebration produced the most garbage as can be seen in some of the attached photos.

While almost all of us were asleep and in the wee hours, our SWMO team undertook clean up operations!
