Goa Mayor Marcel Pan excited for GSIS service desk in the town

POLITIKO - The bible of Philippine Politics.
Goa Mayor Marcel Pan is happy to bring the services of the Government Service Insurance System closer to the people.
In a Facebook post, Pan said he signed a memorandum of agreement for the opening of a GSIS Service Desk in Goa.
It would provide services to its members and pensioners in the whole Partido area.
It would be located at the second floor lobby of the municipal building, and would be open every first and third Thursday of the month.
The GSIS kiosk in the central terminal would be transferred next to the service desk later on.
The municipality of Goa and the GSIS also agreed to open an extension office at the Municipal Government Center adjacent to the Senior Citizens Building.
The local government would donate a portion of its property for the construction of the GSIS building.
Once this is completed, GSIS members would no longer have to make the hour-long-trip to Naga for their transactions, said Pan.
This will bring so much convenience!
“GSIS- LGU GOA PARTNERSHIP TO BRING GSIS’ SERVICE CLOSER TO ITS MEMBERS:
GSIS Naga City Branch headed by Branch Manager Ms. Celeste E. Ferreras, Division Chiefs King D. Buencamino & Resurreccion A. Bulaong, and LGU-Goa headed by yours truly and Vice-Mayor Pedong P. Gonzaga, signed the Memorandum of Agreement this afternoon for the opening of the GSIS Service Desk to provide services to its members and pensioners of the whole Partido area. Members of the Sangguniang Bayan and Department & Section Heads of LGU Goa and some employees of GSIS witnessed the MOA signing.
The GSIS Service Desk can be found at the 2nd Floor Lobby of the Municipal Government Building of Goa. It will open every 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month. The GSIS Kiosk in the Goa Central terminal will be emtransferred eventually adjacent to the Service Desk.
The GSIS Management and LGU-Goa also agreed to open an extension office here at the Municipal Government Center adjacent to the Senior Citizens Building. LGU-Goa will donate that portion of LGU Property to GSIS where it will construct its extension office so that all services of the said agency can be availed by its members in the said extension office. This will spare its members, especially the senior citizen pensioners, the hour long trip to Naga City.
Another project to ‘Bring the Government Closer to the People,’” Pan posted.
