Socorro, Oriental Mindoro Mayor Nemmen Perez is one of this year’s Gawad Banyuhay Awardees.

The award is given by the Dr. Carl Balita Foundtion Inc.

It recognizes individuals or groups for living and leading an exemplary life for others through transformative community service and engagement.

Perez personally received her award during ceremonies held at the Manila Hotel, and she looked very happy with the recognition.

Ang Gawad Banyuhay ay ibinibigay ng 𝗗𝗥. 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗟 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗡𝗖., ang charity arm ng numero uno at tanging ISO-certified review center ng bansa – CBRC,” Perez’ Facebook page posted.
