Palawan SP reminds employers to release workers’ 13th month pay


The Palawan Sangguniang Panlalawigan has urged private establishments in the the province to pay their employees their 13th month pay.

This is in accordance with the Labor Advisory No. 23 Series of 2022 of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Presidential Decree No. 851.

The SP passed Proposed Resolution No. 554- 22 entitled: Urging all covered private sectors in the Province of Palawan to ensure payment and compliance with the guidelines for the payment of 13th-month pay to employees.

The said measure was authored by Board Member Ryan D. Maminta.

Maminta said that the resolution seeks to ensure that employees who rendered service will receive what they have worked for.

“This resolution aims to support the issuance of the advisory to urged all the covered private sectors in the province of Palawan to ensure the payment and compliance to the guidelines for the payment of 13th month pay to their employees to be able to give gratitude to the services of their employees in time for Christmas season,” said BM Maminta.
