Lagman attends first flag-raising ceremony as governor

Newly installed Albay Governor Edcel “Grex” Lagman has attended his first ever flag ceremony as the top local official of the province.

Lagman thanked the employees, led by department heads, for welcoming him at the Capitol.

“My first Flag Ceremony as Governor of Albay. Officially welcomed my immediate official family. God bless Albay Beautiful,” said Lagman.

“Pig-introducir ko man an sakong immediate official family. An saindong Provincial Administrator na si Sheina Onrubia-Dela Cruz na sarong Political Science cum laude graduate kan UP asin LLB degree holder; an saindong Provincial Legal Officer na si Atty. Susan M. Barrios-Cas; an saindong Public Information Officer na si Atty. Marylou Duka Castillo; asin an saindong Civil Security Unit Head na si Colonel Berdin,” he added.

“United we stand; divided we fall. Let’s all buckle down to work. Tama na an pulitika. Let’s heal Albay,” he continued.

Lagman became governor after former Gov. Noel Rosal was disqualified by the Commission on Elections.

Rosal sought for a temporary restraining order from the Supreme Court to halt the implementation of the Comelec order disqualifying him but he failed to secure one.
