Senator Imee Marcos visited the province of Occidental Mindoro to distribute financial aid in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

Marcos also thanked the officials of the province led by Governor Eduardo Gadiano for the warm welcome.

“Nagpapasalamat ako kay Governor Eduardo Gadiano, Mayor Rey Ladaga, Vice Mayor Sonny Javier, ang kanilang mga lokal na opisyal at sa mga taga-San Jose, Occidental Mindoro sa inyong napaka-init na pagtanggap sa aking pagbisita ngayong Sabado, Disyembre 3,” said Marcos.

Around a thousand beneficiaries received cash assistance from Marcos and the DSWD.

“Nag-abot po tayo ng tulong pinansyal kasama ang ahensya ng DSWD para kaunting lunas sa mga nangangailangan sa lugar,” said Marcos.

“Nakatanggap ng P3,000 ayuda bawat isa sa isanlibong benepisyaryo ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations,” she added.
