Sorsogon Rep. Dette Escudero hopes to improve the province’s correctional system
Sorsogon Rep. Dette Escudero is looking after the welfare of persons deprived of liberty in her province.
Escudero recently met with Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Region V Director J/CSUPT Joel Superficial and his team to discuss plans and programs to improve Sorsogon’s correctional system.
In a Facebook post, she said she would like to have additional prisoner training, similar to the program implemented when she had teamed up with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.
She also said the Sorsogon government is working hard to ensure thayt its detention facilities are managed well in order to uphold justice and the rule of law.
