Kababayan ang empleyado! Gov Ortega-David gets kilig over Starbucks in La Union
La Union Governor Rafy Ortega-David felt giddy knowing that a branch of popular coffee chain Starbucks in her province hired locals for its staff.
The North Luzon Politiko visited the newly opened Starbucks La Union on Tuesday, November 22, to discuss ways how its representatives can work with the provincial government “for a more sustainable planet.”
That’s when Ortega-David learned that Starbucks hired La Union workers to run the branch.
“It was a fruitful discussion and I am excited for further collaborations with Starbucks for the La Union community. Also, nakakakilig na locals of La Union ang employed sa kanilang beautiful store!” she said on Facebook.
