Gadiano provides cash aid to public schools

Occidental Mindoro Governor Ed Gadiano has turned over almost P8.5 million in assistance to public schools in the province.

The said amount was sourced from the Special Education Fund of the province.

“Sa patuloy na pagkilala ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Occidental Mindoro sa pamumuno ni Governor Ed Gadiano sa mahalagang gampanin ng Department of Education (DepEd) – Division of Occidental Mindoro sa paghubog at paglinang ng ating mga sa mga kabataan ng OksiMin, sila ay pinagkalooban ng kabuuang Php 8,491,830.68 mula sa Special Education Fund bilang tulong pinansyal sa pitong pampublikong paaralan sa lalawigan,” Gadiano’s office said.

“Personal na iginawad ni Gov. Ed ang nasabing tseke kay Mr. Aniceto Parojinog, School Governance and Operation Division, kasabay sa naging pagdiriwang ng 72nd Founding Anniversary at Arawatan Festival ng lalawigan,” it added.

The following schools received funds for the repairs of classrooms:

1. Baclaran Elementary School – (Repair of three (3) classroom) – Php 942,515.65
2. Lumangbayan Elementary School – (Repair of three (3) classrooms) – Php 942,515.65
3. Tangkalan Elementary School – (Repair of four (4) classrooms) – Php 952,644.26
4. Tayamaan Elementary School – (Repair of six (6) classrooms) – Php 1,361,334.8
5. Mamburao Central School – (Repair of four (4) classrooms) – Php 1,256,687.54
6. Armado Elementary School – (Repair of five (5) classrooms) – Php 1,570,859.42
7. Mangarin National High School – (Repair of two (2) classrooms) – Php 522,757.71
8. Manoot Elementary School – (Repair of three (3) classrooms) – Php 942,515.65

“Sa muling pagbabalik ng face-to-face classes sa mga paaralan, naniniwala si Gov. Ed sa magandang dulot na hatid nito sa ating mga mag-aaral,” Gadiano’s office said.
