Calapan Councilor Rona Leachon shows off her singing prowess

She was not prepared to perform, but Calapan Councilor Rona Leachon wowed the audience of the Solo Parents’ event when she belted out the song “One Hello.”

In a Facebook post, Leachon said she was suddenly urged to sing at the event.

It was not her habit to turn down requests, she said. So despite the challenges such as the pianist not knowing her songs and the electric organ coming unplugged, she still performed.

The audience was very appreciative of her singing, and showered her with applause.

“Yung sabay tawag sa pangalan mo at napaawit ka ng biglaan sa variety show ng Solo Parent, di ko ugali ang di pagbigyan ang hiling, sabi nga eh para kanta eh! Tapos di naman alam ng pianista ang mga kinakanta mo, tapos natanggal pa ang plug ng electric organ, ay tunay ka naman nag ari din eh.. naitawid din eh ang “One HELLO” dahil kabisado naman ni kuya pianista ang tipa sa piano, ako lang ang mali mali sa lyrics, ahaha aging is real.. salamat Kapitana Jesusa Narsoles ay may souvenir ka naman pala ng one night of eccentricity ko sa Solo Parent’s Day
