21 Albay officials join Lakas-CMD

A total of 21 local officials from Albay have officially joined the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats Party.

The Bicol officials have taken their oath of membership m before its Party President and Speaker of the House of Representatives Ferdinand Martin Romualdez on Wednesday.

Nine mayors, eight provincial board members, and four city councilors took their oaths in a simple ceremony held at the office of Speaker Romualdez.

In alphabetical order, the Albay mayors who joined Lakas-CMD are:

1. Joseling B. Aguas – Sto. Domingo, Albay
2. Alan Arandia – Pio Duran, Albay
3. Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. – Camalig, Albay
4. Carlwyn Baldo – Daraga, Albay
5. Atty. Sharon Escoto – Oas, Albay
6. Dick Galicia – Rapu Rapu, Albay
7. Paul Garcia – Guinobatan, Albay
8. Wilfredo V. Maronilla – Libon, Albay
9. Adrian E. Salceda – Polangui, Albay

With today’s oath-taking rites, 9 of Albay’s 18 mayors are now with Lakas-CMD.

The Albay provincial board members now with Lakas-CMD are:

1. Melissa Abadeza
2. Dante Arandia
3. Reynaldo Bragais
4. Glenda Ong Bongao
5. Eva Lopez Ribaya
6. Jesus Salceda Jr.
7. Juan Miguel Salceda
8. Victor Ziga Jr. (ran as Lakas in May 2022. He was the only Lakas Member who ran for the board member of Albay last May)

With today’s oath-taking rites, 8 of 17 elected provincial board members are now Lakas-CMD members.

The Legazpi City councilors who their oaths as Lakas-CMD members are:

1. Luis Guitierez
2. Sunshine Imperial
3. Atty. Roberto Lucila

From Tabaco City, Caroline Ziga-So took her oath as a Lakas-CMD member.
