DOH logs 196 COVID-19 cases in Bicol from Oct. 16-22

The Department of Health has recorded 196 new COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region from October 16 to 22.The latest figure brought the active cases to 1,529.
The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

Meanwhile, the DOH also reported 209 new recoveries to push the total to 60,438. Two more deaths were logged to bring the death toll to 2,651.
“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
