Naga Councilor Joe Perez looks forward to sisterhood agreement signing with Calamba
Naga Councilor Joe Perez reminisced about his earlier visit to Calamba as he prepared for Naga’s signing of a sisterhood agreement with it.
Perez said the agreement is bound to be beneficial.
In a Facebook post, Perez recalled that he brought his children to the house of Jose Rizal in Calamba two decades ago, and they enjoyed learning about the national hero’s childhood.
Now, Naga will have closer ties with Calamba.
Perez said he and other Naga officials are set to sign a sisterhood agreement with Calamba.
This partnership would result in more economic, culture, and academic exchanges, and foster stronger ties and friendship between their investors and residents, he said.
He also noted that Naga is this year’s most competitive component city while Calamba is the second most economically dynamic component city.
They’re bound to have a productive partnership!
