209 COVID-19 cases logged in Bicol from Oct. 9-15

The Department of Health has logged 209 COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region from October 9 to October 15.

This brought the active cases in the region to 1,544.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

Meanwhile, the department also logged 599 recoveries to bring the total number of recoveries to 60,229.

Death toll remains at 2,649 as the DOH did not log any additional fatalities due to the disease.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
