Bicol reports 223 COVID-19 cases from Oct. 2 to 8

The Department of Health reported 223 COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region from October 2 to 8.
The latest figure brought the active cases to 1,934.
The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

Meanwhile, 258 patients recovered from the disease during the same period.
On the other hand, the DOH logged nine fatalities, to push the death toll to 2,649.
“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
