Rep. Hagedorn meets with TESDA Mimaropa officials
Palawan Rep. Edward Hagedorn warmly welcomed recently the officials of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Mimaropa.
According to the solon’s office, the new Regional Director, Angelina Carreon, headed the team’s visit to the House of Representatives in Quezon City. Joining her were five Provincial Directors and technical staff from the region.
The guests include Oriental Mindoro PD Rosalina Reyes, Occidental Mindoro PD Joey Aclan, Marinduque PD Zoraida Amper, Romblon PD Amir Ampao and Palawan PD Vivian Abueva.
TESDA expressed appreciation for Hagedorn’s support for its programs. Meanwhile Abueva hopes that through the help of Hagedorn,TESDA can finally erect its own office building.
“Nagpapasalamat ako personally kay Cong. sa pagpapaunlak sa meeting na ito. We are hoping and praying na matutupad na ang pangarap na magkaroon ng sariling opisina at makasama sa national government agencies na naka establish na (sa city).”
TESDA is currently sharing space with the Puerto Princesa School of Arts and Trades in Sta. Monica since their establishment 28 years ago.
“The Congressman is working closely with the city government chief Mayor Lucilo Bayron to make this possible for TESDA, which plays a huge role in providing technical training and livelihood opportunities for the out-of-school youth, PDLs, OFWs, career shifters, and unemployed Palawenyos,” said Hagedor’s office.
