Hagedorn meets with Puerto Princesa entrepreneurs
Palawan Rep. Edward Hagedorn has recently addressed the concerns of entrepreneurs in Puerto Princesa City.
Hagedorn said that he was invited to the general membership meeting of the Puerto Princesa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (PCCI) last Sept. 23.
“It was the most opportune time to check on our hardworking entrepreneurs,” said the lawmaker.
“During the open forum, we were able to address questions and concerns mainly about the challenges in “rethinking” and “reinventing” tourism, electricity, internet and connectivity issues, and other new ways to revitalize the local commerce and economy post-pandemic and typhoon Odette,” he added.
Hagedorn noted that his previous accomplishments as a sustainable eco-tourism model remind him of the the strong partnership needed with the business sector to come up with new and relevant strategies.
“#KaibigangEDsaKongreso is happy to report that we have refiled bills, introduced new ones, and currently working on several others. These bills once passed, will boost the business and tourism sectors,” he said.
“Sa ating small and medium entrepreneurs, at mga miembro ng PCCI maraming salamat sa inyong suporta. Let’s keep working together for a more progressive Palawan 3rd District,” he added.
