Albay gov’t recognizes 5 outstanding government workers


The Provincial Government of Albay has commended five Albayanos for their exemplary works and public service during the last flag-raising ceremony.

Senior Board Member Baby Glenda Ong-Bongao read a resolution passed by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Albay (SPA) commending them.
The certificates of commendation were then presented to the four Regional winners of the Search for Outstanding Government Workers in the province for their significant contribution to civil and public service.

They were chosen by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) through a rigorous process and the names were announced on August 22.

The CSC Rehiyonal Dangal ng Bayan awardees were the Dean of the Bicol University College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) Atty. Alex B. Nepomuceno, Professor V, Former Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) head Dr. Eva A. Grageda, Social Welfare Officer IV, and Mr. Antonio Morada, Librarian II from the office of the Department of Education Regional Office V. Meanwhile, Legazpi City Health Officer Dr. Fulbert Alec Gillego was awarded the CSC Pag-Asa award for the individual category.

Ms. Amylen Nuyles Bautista also received a certificate of commendation for becoming the provincial librarian awardee during the search for Gawad Parangal sa Natatanging Propesyunal na Tagapangasiwa at Tagapaglingkod ng Pampublikong Aklatan.

She is also the recipient of the Gawad Parangal 2022 Leadership Award and Gawad ng Country Representative for the Asia Foundation.
