Lagman welcomes new batch of OVG youth ambassadors
Albay Vice Governor Edcel Grex Lagman has welcomed the third batch of his youth ambassadors.
“So, at present, i have 150 of them embarking on their respective journeys to a purposeful life and one where they can be leaders,” said Lagman.
“Bonus na sana that they are all academically proficient. What is most important is how they build their character. Their decision to go out of their comfort zones and go the extra mile,” he added.
Lagman also lauded their courage to face tje challenges and obstacles life brings.
“I taught in college for 4 semesters. I’ve seen how 2 of my former students in UP Manila have placed in the Bar exams,” he said.
“And i know how more fulfilling it is for me to witness the transformation of my seemingly ordinary and average students into becoming exceptional human beings,” he added.
“Life is a lifelong learning process. So never rest on your laurels. You’re only as good as your last performance. But, above all, always be kind and honorable people. This could well be the biggest achievement,” he continued.
Until the next — and 4th batch —-of OVG-YAs… 🙏❤️💪
