DOH reports 407 COVID-19 cases in Bicol from Aug. 21-27

The Department of Health has reported 407 COVID-19 cases in Bicol from August 21 to 27.

Active cases in the region now rose to 1,664.

The distribution of newly reported cases is as follows:

Meanwhile, the DOH also logged 568 recoveries during the same period.

Four new fatalities were also logged. Three of them were from Albay and one from Sorsogon.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action. Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” said the DOH.
