Leni thanks those who joined in commemorating Jesse
A decade has passed but former Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo’s memory lives on, Atty. Leni Robredo said.
The former Vice President also thanked those who commemorated the 10th death anniversary of her husband on August 18.
“It has been 10 years since we lost Jesse. But his memory lives on because of everyone who joins us in remembering,” said VP Leni.
Jesse, then the Interior chief, died in a plane crash in 2012.
“Much has happened in this whirlwind of a decade, but the love that Jesse left behind is our constant source of comfort and strength,” said Leni.
Every day, we strive to make Jesse proud, as we have always been of who he was—to live with purpose and integrity, in service of others,” she added.
