The Naujan local government knows how beloved the “Ang Probinsyano” TV show is that it hosted a watch party for its final episode on Friday.
The local government aired the episode on its giant LED TV at the plaza, and it drew a huge crowd.
In a Facebook post, Naujan’s public information office said the atmosphere was fiesta-like as people watched how Cardo Dalisay achieved justice for his family, loved ones, and innocent victims after seven years.
Some of the viewers at the plaza had come from far-flung barangays and had even brought their families with them, it said.
They chose to watch at the plaza because of the large screen, the food being sold in the area, and the fun atmosphere, it said.
It also noted that the viewers had mixed emotions because of the intense fight scenes and deaths of Agila members.
Some of them found some of the deaths unacceptable. Others said they would wait for the return of Ang Probinsyano because Cardo and Mara are still alive.
They were also thankful for the operation of the giant LED TV.
The Naujan local government said they could expect that the LED TV at plaza would continue to operate to provide important information as well as entertainment.
To more watch parties!
