Bicol logs 626 COVID-19 cases from July 31-Aug. 6

The Department of Health has logged 626 COVID-19 cases in Bicol Region from July 31 to August 6.

Latest data show that Bicol has 1,357 active cases.

Meanwhile, the DOH also reported 349 new recoveries during the period. It also logged one new fatality to push the COVID-19 death toll to 2,618.

“The fight against COVID-19 rests primarily in each individual action,” said the DOH.

“Everyone should take the necessary precautions to protect themselves and others from contracting the virus,” it added.
