Rosal etes to make Albay a preferred convention destination

Albay Governor Noel Rosal bared that the province has submitted its bid to host Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) National Convention next year.

The bid came after Rosal attended this year’s conference held in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu last July 22 to 23 2022.

Rosal, who is ranked as a Rear Admiral of the Philippine Coast Guard’s civilian arm, said that at least 3,000 attendees from all over the country are expected to join the 2023 iteration of their gathering.

The PCGA has over 20,000 officers and members.

Governor Rosal also pushed for the emergence of the Legazpi City as the preferred convention destination for various groups and organizations. With numerous invitations extended, Legazpi quickly emerged as the top pick.

“Albay is a very beautiful province, people have so much to see and do. But most of all, we have the best resource for tourism, the warm hospitality of the Albayanos and their welcoming spirit,” he said.
